Help Support Our Brother after a senseless Tragic Act of Violence.

On July 10th, 2026, our beloved brother was tragically shot in the head while riding the Metro bus to what would be his last doctor's appointment. He was an innocent bystander who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time when senseless gun violence changed his life forever and left our family forever broken-hearted.

Our family is asking for your support during one of the most difficult times we've ever faced in our lives. Our brother was a highly intelligent, vibrant, fun, loving father, great brother, and son. He was also his 78-year-old father's caretaker and primary source of support. He was full of energy, incredibly talkative, and never met a stranger. He was also an advocate for the community and was a UMSL Alumni. He would often return to UMSL to swim and read books in the library where he would visit at least 3 times a week.

We are now faced with this devastating tragic loss. The emotional, physical, and financial burden and hardship our family is left with is overwhelming and extremely heart-wrenching.

We are seeking help with raising funds to help cover funeral costs and to help with the traveling expenses for his children so they may attend their father's funeral along with other unexpected expenses that come with this tragedy. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease some of the financial stress and allow our family to focus on what matters most.
