It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Faisal Amiri.
Faisal was a one-of-a-kind person, known for his infectious smile that could light up any room. He was an incredibly loving and caring brother, the third of four, and had a unique gift for always finding the bright side of any situation.
Faisal graduated with a diploma in Addictions Recovery Support for Youth and Families from CDI College. He worked at Strides Toronto for the past 4 years, helping youth with autism, mental disabilities, and any families that needed help.
On October 8th, our lives were changed forever when Faisal passed away unexpectedly at home. It was a complete and sudden shock that has left a hole in all of our hearts.
The grief has been felt heavily by our entire family and community, especially our mother. Faisal was not only a cherished brother and son, but also a loving and devoted father to his baby boy, Arthur.
His greatest joy was his son, and our hearts break that Arthur will grow up without his father's incredible light by his side. The love for Faisal was felt deeply at his funeral, where so many friends and family who loved him gathered to say their goodbyes.
Faisal's last thoughts were of the vacation he would go to Dominican Republic with his parents at the end of October, of his loving son, and of his bright future.
We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support, and many have asked how they can help. We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of his funeral and memorial services. In the future, we plan to move Faisal to Dominican Republic, so he may see the sunshine he always loved. We wish for his son, Arthur, to see him there in the future, with a beautiful palm tree above him we would plant.
Any support you can offer, whether it's a donation or sharing this page, would mean the world to us. Thank you for helping us honor the memory of a wonderful brother, son, and father.
