It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our colleague, Anthoula Pournara, a beloved former middle school Math teacher (AMC). Trained as a Physicist, she dedicated her career to guiding young learners with kindness and care. Although Ms. Pournara was Greek, she loved the U.S. deeply, and she was proud to be called American. However, she had no family in the U.S. and passed away alone.

Thus, we are reaching out to ask for your support in covering her funeral expenses, so that together we can give her the dignity and love she deserves. Contributions of any amount will make a difference and will help us honor her memory.
