Help Us Honor and Lay Our Beloved Son and Brother

Our family is heartbroken as we share the sudden loss of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend to many. He meant so much to so many people and the shock of losing him has left our family trying to navigate both deep grief and the unexpected financial costs that come with saying goodbye..

He had an unforgettable laugh. Anyone who heard it knows exactly what we mean; it was genuine, contagious and could instantly lift the mood in any room. It’s something we will carry with us in our memories forever.

He loved his family deeply, especially his nephew, who looked up to him and brought him so much joy. Like so many others, he had his struggles but he also had a big heart and a deep love for the people in his life. He had a natural desire to help others and always stepped in when someone needed it. Being able to help people meant a lot to him and he carried that compassion with him throughout his life. It truly felt like helping others was part of his purpose.

He worked in a role supporting hospice care; helping prepare, deliver and return medical equipment for patients and families going through difficult moments. Being able to help others in any way possible meant the world to him and he carried that sense of compassion into many areas of his life.

Right now, our family is working to give him the dignity and remembrance he deserves. We are planning his viewing along with celebration of life so the people who loved him can gather, share memories and honor his life together.

Unfortunately, the unexpected expenses have been overwhelming. These include funeral home services, embalming for viewing, apartment obligations, vehicle payments and other end-of-life costs that arise so suddenly during a time of grief.

We are hoping to raise $12,000 to help cover:

• Funeral home and preparation costs

• Celebration of life arrangements

• Remaining rent and housing obligations

• Vehicle expenses

• Other necessary end-of-life expenses
