Oluwalayomi Fadero was a beloved 23-year-old woman from Nashville whose life was tragically cut short. On a recent afternoon, while turning into her neighborhood on Hickory Woods Drive, Oluwalayomi was struck and killed by a driver in an alleged stolen pickup truck. She was simply on her way home, and her dog Nala was with her in the car. Miraculously, Nala survived the crash and was reunited with Oluwalayomi’s loved ones, but the loss of Oluwalayomi has left a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Oluwalayomi was a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minor in business administration. However, her passion for caring for others led her to pursue an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was set to finish her nursing degree in August 2026. Oluwalayomi was known for her kindness, her bright spirit, and the love she shared with her family, friends, and her dog Nala. Her sudden and untimely passing has been a shock to all who cared for her. As her loved ones come together to grieve and remember the beautiful life she lived, they are also faced with the unexpected burden of funeral expenses.
We are reaching out to the community for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help Oluwalayomi’s family cover funeral costs and allow them to focus on healing and honoring her memory.
