Life can change in an instant, and for the Jules

family, the past 24 hours have brought unimaginable challenges and heartbreak. Mapendo Olga Ruhembuza (28) and Jaredi Mpaweingabire (31) were a loving couple with four wonderful children, living a happy life filled with dreams and aspirations. Jaredi worked tirelessly as the sole breadwinner, providing for his family and ensuring a bright future for his kids. Mapendo Olga Ruhembuza, a devoted wife and mother, brought warmth and love to their home, nurturing her family and always putting their needs above her own.

However, their world was turned upside down yesterday, December 25th 2024 around 12:30 am, when they got hit by a box Truck on US Highway 87 about seven miles east of Hartley.

According to DPS, the driver who happens to be Jaredi Mpaweingabire, (31) and all five passengers in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene (reported by ABC 7 NEWS):

The Abekya family received devastating news and tragically, their brave fight ended too soon. Mapendo Olga Ruhembuza and her husband Jaredi passed away with their children as well, leaving behind a void that words cannot describe. Their untimely departure has left her family shattered.

Now, the Jules’s family faces overwhelming challenges: grieving the loss of Mapendo Olga Ruhembuza , navigating their immigration status, and coping with mounting financial burdens. The funeral costs, and the expenses of transferring their body to the burial site for her final rites have created an urgent need for support.
