Honoring Officer Coker's Legacy

My name is Jazmin, and my brother Jerry Jr. and I created this go fund me to help raise funds to aide us in support for our father, Jerry Coker.

Our father is in the process of transitioning and although he has been ill for quite sometime, his condition has taken a very recent and drastic change for the worse. Which now, has lead to my brother and I taking a leave of absence from both of our jobs to care for him in his final days. Between the financial burden of caring for him full time, along with maintaining both of our households and his, we have made the decision to create this in hopes that our family and friends can help in contribute to upcoming funeral costs in anyway possible, along with lots of prayers.

Everyone knows our dad as "COKER." He was a correction officer at the Cumberland County Department of Corrections for 38 years. Our dad has had a positive impact on so many lives, including ours. He was full of life and would help anyone he could. he was big on FAMILY. When it came to family, he would drop whatever he was doing and come running to the rescue. From his cooking, to his dancing, to his joking around and always making sure his car was sparkling clean.. COKER was and always will be COKER.

This last year has been extremely difficult for our family. Between being in and out of hospitals and rehabs, to only being able to enjoy home for a maximum of 4 days in May, to now bringing him home on hospice 3 days before Thanksgiving, has been absolutely heartbreaking for us. As we prepare for these final days with our dad, we ask for lots and prayers and would appreciate any donation you're willing to give.
