In Loving Memory of Odette

Our family is heartbroken over the sudden and unexpected loss of Odette. Just one month ago, she was diagnosed with diabetes — and none of us could have imagined that we’d be saying goodbye so soon.

Odette was truly one of a kind. She was spicy, stubborn, and set in her ways — but she was also hilarious, loyal, and full of life. You never knew what wild, witty, or completely random thing she was going to say next, but that was part of what made her so special. She brought laughter wherever she went, and her presence filled every room she entered.

Odette leaves behind her only child, her daughter Jurnee, who is expecting Odette’s first grandchild — a grandbaby she was so excited to meet but tragically never will. Our hearts ache knowing she won’t be here to hold that baby in her arms, but we find comfort knowing her love and spirit will live on through them.

This GoFundMe has been created to help Odette’s family with funeral and memorial expenses, and to support Jurnee as she grieves the loss of her mother while preparing to bring new life into the world.
