HELP THE HENDERSON FAMILY BURY THEIR 98

YEAR OLD MATRIARCH, ODESSA AUDREY HENDERSON

Our dear mother, Odessa who lived to be 98 years old passed away during the recent snowstorm in the DMV. She was not discovered until weeks later and was then held at the Medical Examiner's office in Virgina for several more weeks.

Our mother was an extremely kind soul, and it was obvious to all those who knew her well. She retired from the Federal government many years ago but continued keeping busy at the church as church mother, and in the community serving others. She was a wife, and an amazing mother who raised 8 children mostly on her own. She spent a lifetime caring not only for her children, but others as well.

Now, at this final stage and opportunity to honor her, the sibling designated as the beneficiary of the Insurance policy she purchased, is unwilling to fulfill her final wishes which are simply to be buried properly. Instead, they wish to have her cremated, and that was specifically not what she wanted.

More unfortunate, all of us are retired, on fixed incomes, and simply do not have any means to pay for her funeral. Most of the family is devastated at both her condition when found and the fact that we simply don't have the money to put her away as she wanted and deserved, and it's been way too long that she's not buried.

I am raising funds to help with the expenses of the funeral which are extremely expensive. Your support will literally help put this kind woman away as she had wanted for herself. We are devastated about this entire situation, and we are truly in a state of desperation.
