Honoring Novy — A Life of Faith, Service, and Love

On Saturday, December 13, our beloved Novy, wife, mother, sister, and dedicated nurse at UC Davis and the Sacramento VA, was tragically struck by a car while walking to work. She was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center in critical condition, where she fought bravely, surrounded by prayers and love.

Novy lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and service. As a devoted Catholic and a selfless nurse, she spent her life caring for others—comforting the sick, advocating for her patients, and answering God’s call to serve with humility and grace. She gave endlessly of herself, often putting others before her own needs.

Now, her family faces an unimaginable loss and overwhelming burdens during this incredibly painful time. We are coming together as a community to support them as they navigate medical expenses and funeral costs.
