Novak wasn’t just a brother, son, or husband — he was our family pillar that everyone gravitated toward. He loved his nieces and nephews fiercely, he was the "Funcle". He showed up. He carried them on his shoulders, played video games to the point of arthritis, cooked, got in the pool with them, made them laugh, and made them feel safe.
He was selfless to a fault — the kind of man who carried his burdens quietly so no one else would have to worry. He didn’t complain. He didn’t ask for help. He took care of everyone else first. Even as his health declined, he focused on protecting others from concern instead of protecting himself.
His passing leaves a hole that cannot be filled — especially in the hearts of the children who adored him.
We are raising funds to honor his life and help support his family during this sudden and devastating loss. If you knew Novak, you knew his heart
