Nora was someone whose presence could light up any room. She carried a kind of joy that wasn’t loud or forced but genuine, warm, and comforting. She had a heart that made space for everyone, always putting others before herself and making sure those around her felt loved, seen and cared for. To know her was to feel that love.
As many of you know, she spent the last 10 years fighting not just one, but two incredibly difficult battles, breast cancer and stomach cancer. These weren’t easy years. There were moments filled with exhaustion, pain and uncertainty. There were days when her body was simply tired, when the treatments took everything out of her and when it would have been understandable to give up but that wasn’t who she was. She kept going. She kept fighting. She kept choosing hope.
Even in the middle of her hardest days, she never lost her light. She held onto faith, always believing there was something greater ahead. She continued to give love in every way she could through her words, her presence, and her strength. She showed us what true resilience looks like, and what it means to love selflessly, even when you’re hurting.
She was deeply loved by so many, and her impact on our lives is something that will never fade. The lessons she taught us, the love she gave and the strength she showed will continue to live on through all of us. She was more than just a mother, a friend, or a loved one but she was an inspiration to many.
On March 26, 2026, she went home to be with Jesus. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain. She is finally at peace, finally resting after such a long and difficult fight.
During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to our community for support. We are currently facing the financial burden of funeral expenses and any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much to our family. Your generosity will help us give her the beautiful and meaningful farewell she truly deserves.
We are so grateful for every donation, every message, every prayer, and every bit of love that has been shown to us. Your support is helping carry us through one of the hardest moments of our lives. Thank you for standing with us, for honoring her life, and for keeping our family in your hearts.
