Supporting Karen Brady and Honoring the Life of Nick Dragos

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about a dear friend. Our community lost a truly wonderful man on, April 2, when Nick Dragos passed away from congestive heart failure.

Many of you know Nick as the best friend and devoted husband to Karen for 35 years. To his grandsons, Ben and Finn, he was a doting Grandpa who always had a story or a laugh ready. Whether he was lost in a book, listening to jazz, or cheering on his beloved San Francisco Giants and Sacramento Kings, Nick’s presence was a constant source of warmth for all of us.

Because this loss was so sudden, I’ve started this gofund to support Karen. While she navigates this tragic loss, the last thing she should have to worry about is the unexpected financial burden that comes with it. Your donations will go directly toward honoring Nick’s memory and helping Karen through this transition.

Celebration of Life

We want to give Nick the send-off he deserves. Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared as soon as they are finalized. We look forward to gathering soon to share stories, listen to some jazz, and remember the man we all loved.
