Honoring Natividad: Help Lay Him to Rest
Donation protected
With a heavy heart, I am writing to give our loved ones an opportunity to support my father Natividad Muñoz, and our family as we prepare for his burial after succumbing to a longtime battle against congestive heart failure.
My father was born in Fabens, Texas. After moving to California and beginning his family, he served for the United States Marines from 1976 to 1979. Upon returning to Tulare, CA he lived a vibrant life as a father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. He was intelligent with a cunning sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was a die-hard Dodger and Raider fan and enjoyed watching games with the family.
Unfortunately, despite overcoming prostate cancer, he was ailed with congestive heart failure. He gave a long and hard fight and tried every avenue to beat the diagnosis but ultimately the toll had been taken on his body. His organs deteriorated with every day and he went into organ failure. He passed peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones.
As we are mourning, we are being tasked with preparing his funeral services. As many of our loved ones have inquired how they can support, we are compelled to suggest offering donating to his burial services as the costs for such are steep and his death was something we were unprepared for as we anticipated our father living a long life. All donations will go toward his burial services, which we foresee will occur in a few weeks after we get his affairs in order. We will update our family and friends on the services as they become finalized.
Thank you again for loving my father and being a part of his life.
