Honoring Natalie: Aid for Funeral and Animal Care
Donation protected
Natalie and Andy were brought together by fate, chasing their American dreams in 2010. Andy left the UK for Silicon Valley for his dream job, while Natalie pursued education. Their chance meeting at a badminton game in Campbell sparked a love that changed their lives. They married in 2011, sharing interests, laughter, and adventures.
Natalie had a profound passion for animals. Together, they rescued numerous cats and dogs. She selflessly cared for animals beyond her home. She dedicated herself to improving their lives, capturing strays, neutering, and providing vital healthcare and nourishment from her own pocket.
Tragedy struck when Natalie's life was taken in a car accident in Vietnam, where she had traveled to support her ailing father. The driver, a friend's family member, also passed away. Andy's world shattered upon receiving the news hours later.
Andy faced complex arrangements to bring Natalie's body back to her parents, working with the US Embassy due to Vietnam's regulations for US Nationals. He traveled 22 hours to be with Natalie's family, sharing the ceremony and cremation with friends and family remotely.
The outpouring of support from friends, colleagues, and family has been overwhelming. Many have reached out with financial support, flowers, and even cat/ dog food. This kindness has been a beacon of hope during Andy's darkest hours.
To honor Natalie's legacy, we're seeking support for expenses incurred due to travel, funeral expenses, subsistence while abroad, translation and documentation services, funeral services, and care for their beloved animals. At the moment Natalie has seven cats and one dog in the house, 10+ stray cats to feed and take care of every day. Any contribution will help alleviate the financial burden. Your love and support mean everything.
Rest in peace, Natalie. Your compassion and love will never be forgotten.
