Honoring the Life of Nanci Ann Clarkson
On January 23, 2026, we lost a remarkable woman, mother, nurse, and friend. Nanci Ann Clarkson lived a life defined by love, service, and strength—and her absence is deeply felt by all who knew her.
Nanci was the devoted mother of two sons who were her entire world: Joshua Beau Clarkson and Michael Anthony Clarkson. She raised them with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering work ethic. Joshua went on to become a haul truck supervisor at a gold and copper mine—blue collar through and through, something Nanci was immensely proud of. Michael followed in his mother’s footsteps into healthcare, becoming a nurse because he wanted to be just like her.
Nanci was an active and cherished member of her community and one of the most respected oncology nurses in the area. She worked at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona, where she cared for patients with extraordinary skill, empathy, and dedication. She didn’t just treat illness—she changed lives. Her patients were never just patients; they were people she loved and fought for every day.
Outside of work, Nanci lived life fully. She loved hiking, paddle boarding, being on the water, discovering new restaurants, traveling, and—most of all—spending time with her beloved grandbabies. She lived big. She loved hard. And she gave endlessly.
In September 2024, Nanci suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of her son Joshua. The grief of losing him profoundly impacted her and the entire family. Now, she is reunited with Joshua and her parents, Carma and George Bingham. We take comfort in believing she is watching over those she loved so fiercely.
Nanci is the standard her boys aspire to—the example of kindness, strength, and selflessness they will carry forward for the rest of their lives.
We are asking for donations to help cover funeral arrangements and related expenses during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated, as are your prayers, love, and support.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us honor the incredible life of Nanci Ann Clarkson.
