Yesterday, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My little sister’s life was taken in a tragic act of violence. We are still in shock, heartbroken, and trying to understand how to move forward without her.

She was deeply loved — a daughter, sister, and friend whose presence brought light, laughter, and warmth to everyone around her. She had so much life ahead of her, and her loss has left a hole in our family that words cannot describe.
