Last year, on my birthday, my family and I laid my beautiful Nonna Maria to rest. That day changed what birthdays mean to me. This year — and every year moving forward — I want my birthday to stand for something different: hope, healing, and giving back.

In her memory, I’m raising funds for Every Cure Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to unlocking the full potential of existing medicines to treat every disease and every patient they possibly can. Their mission resonates deeply with me — because I’ve seen how much strength and love it takes to fight illness, and how powerful it is when science and compassion come together to make a difference.
