Honoring My Mother’s Wish To Get Her Home
Donation protected
After my father’s stroke in July, my siblings and I took turns caring for our parents. As my father regained strength, my mother often expressed how much she missed her home in Mexico—the seasons, her mango tree, and the comfort of being with family.
Last Thursday, she had a heart attack and underwent open-heart surgery. We thought she would recover, but sadly, she passed away. Her final wish was to be buried in her hometown, close to her roots. We are raising funds to honor her wish and give her the farewell she deserves. Any support, big or small, would mean so much to us. Thank you for your kindness during this difficult time.
