My mother was a genocide and cancer survivor, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a strong woman who raised great children and always put others before herself. Her kindness, warmth, and incredible cooking brought our family and friends together, and she truly lived to laugh and socialize. Her resilience and compassion touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the lives she shaped.

Recently, I have been faced with unexpected expenses to help cover the costs of her funeral. Losing her has been incredibly hard, and the financial burden of arranging her final farewell has added to the challenge. I want to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and strength she showed throughout her life, but the costs of funeral services, cremation, and spreading her ashes have become overwhelming.
