My name is Armuntre Jackson, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life. My beautiful mother, Antoinette Jackson, was taken from us too soon after a sudden and heartbreaking battle with cancer. Her strength, love, and unwavering support shaped the person I am today, and I am doing everything I can to honor her memory in the way she deserves.
Her final wish was simple yet deeply meaningful—to have her ashes spread at Catalina Island, a place that held special memories for her. She dreamed of resting in the beauty of the ocean, forever embraced by the waves. However, with the financial burden of memorial costs and unexpected expenses, I am struggling to make this happen on my own.
On top of that, my brothers and I are facing the heartbreaking reality of losing our family home. This was not just a house to my mother—it was the place where she raised us, where we shared our happiest moments, where her love still lingers in every corner. With her passing, ownership of the home is slipping from our hands, and we are desperate to keep it in our family as part of her legacy.
I am currently a full-time student, doing my best to balance my education while navigating this overwhelming loss. But I can’t do it alone.
I am asking for help to:
• Give my mother the peaceful resting place she wished for by fulfilling her wish of being spread at Catalina Island.
• Hold a proper memorial service to celebrate the incredible woman she was.
• Save our family home so that my brothers and I can continue to have a piece of her with us.
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would be just as impactful. My mother was a woman who gave endlessly to those around her—her family, friends, and even strangers. I want to give back to her in the only way I can now.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With love,
Armuntre
