My mom, Margarita, is the life of the party, known for her love of Salsa and Domino, and for filling Humboldt Park with music, laughter, and joy. She is famous for serving Capicu's Y Pelas while blasting her speaker with old school salsa, and she passed her love of music and dancing to me and my siblings. Even though life hasn’t always been easy for her, she has overcome so much and given us a childhood filled with love and laughter.

Recently, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Her time with us is very close, and we want to honor her memory and send her home to God with a beautiful service that reflects the love and joy she has brought to so many people. She truly deserves the world, and we want to give her the farewell she deserves when the time comes.

The funds raised will go directly toward funeral costs, helping us provide a meaningful service for my mom. I would like to thank everyone who has loved my mom and supported her in any way, from donating towards the funeral cost to just being there for emotional support.
