My mom was a talented composer, songwriter, and piano teacher. She was a beautiful, kind, and light soul whose passion for music and piano shaped her entire life. She loved to sit at the piano and create, filling our home with compositions that radiated warmth, light, and a touch of fairy tale magic. Her music touched the lives of her students and everyone who had the privilege of hearing her play.

In January of this year, my mom was diagnosed with a high-grade, rare neuroendocrine carcinoma that began in her nose and eventually spread to her brain. Despite treatment, the tumor returned and grew back quickly. Her illness progressed rapidly, and I am now faced with the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye and honoring her memory. As her only child, I am responsible for arranging her funeral and memorial, which includes covering the costs of a cemetery plot, a headstone, and organizing a service that reflects the beauty of her life and music.

In addition to these expenses, I am also navigating my own living costs during this incredibly difficult time. The support from this fundraiser will help ease the financial burden and allow me to focus on honoring my mom’s legacy. I would be beyond grateful for any support.
