My mom had stage 4 cancer. She was diagnosed just a month after losing her own mother. She fought bravely for a year, enduring hospital stays, chemotherapy, and many medications. Through it all, she remained the most caring and loving person—always ready to feed you or give you the shirt off her back. Her presence was filled with love and laughter, and she touched everyone she met.
