Hello all. I’d like to inform everyone that my mom peacefully passed away Sunday Morning April 12th in her sleep. She was struggling with chronic lung disease and was on the transplant list but unfortunately was too ill.I have been struggling greatly since her passing as we were both financially responsible for our housing and transportation. I feel like everything stopped when she was gone. On top of having to grieve the loss of my mom i am faced with losing my housing in order to cover the costs of her passing. I am not normally the type to ask for help, but the pressure is overwhelming and it’s not possible for me to bear it alone anymore. I know my mom valued her community and family above all else. She made a friend in every person she met and led an adventurous and fulfilling life surrounded with love. She was the best mother, always coming to my defense no matter what. She was an incredible cook, always making me all kind of delicious Italian dishes, but my favorite was her matzo ball soup. I am strong and resourceful because of her and know so many people feel the same. Thank you in advance for your kind words and wishes.
