My name is Nicki Mundy ( previously Harmon) and I am raising funds for my father after the recent loss of my mom. She passed away February 20th surrounded by her loved ones after a long and difficult illness. My parents have been relying on social security for the last several years, and even before my mom's passing, they struggled each month to make ends meet. Now, with only half the income, my dad is facing even more financial hardship.

Kathy was a devoted wife to her husband Chuck for 48 years, a loving mother, and the most incredible grandmother to her granddaughter, Madison. Her family was her entire world, and she showed that every single day through her love, her sacrifices, and her constant presence.

Kathy and Chuck built a beautiful life together, starting with a blind date that turned into a lifelong love story. She was only 19 when they married, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Together, they raised their only child and later helped raise their granddaughter, even retiring early just to be there for her. If more than a couple of days passed without seeing their granddaughter, they were already on their way over. Kathy’s love for her family was endless—she would drop everything for them without hesitation.

She was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet. Kathy was always helping others, even when she had very little herself. She never complained, no matter what she was going through, and always chose kindness. She believed deeply in treating everyone with respect and compassion.

For over 30 years, Kathy and Chuck owned and operated their own cleaning business. Her work ethic was truly unmatched—she never missed a day of work, even when she was sick or injured. She pushed through everything with quiet strength and determination, setting an example for those around her.

Kathy also had a special love for animals, especially cats, often taking in and caring for them. She found joy in the simple things—snorkeling in Key West, spending time in the mountains of Colorado, and being surrounded by the people she loved most.

Her passing has left an unimaginable void in our lives.
