Honoring My Mom: In Loving Memory of Kimberly Clark
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, our mom, Kimberly Clark, was ripped away from us by the senseless, reckless, and disgusting act of a stranger. The weight of her loss is indescribable. My sister and I are shattered.
Our mom was so much more than the "Onalaska Elementary School Teacher" plastered across your newsfeed. To her students and colleagues, she was a dedicated educator and mentor. But to me and my sister, she was everything. Our biggest supporter, advocate, and the softest place to land when the world was too much to bear.
Why We Are Asking for Help
Losing our mom in this way left our family reeling both emotionally and financially. We are currently navigating many convoluted, expensive processes. All the while, still somehow living in a world without our mom.
My mom dedicated most of her adult life to her students and community. Because education meant so much to her, it is our goal that any funds raised will be used to establish an educational scholarship in her name. We want her legacy to live on in a way that honored her life’s work.
Thank you for all of the well wishes and support through this difficult time. My mom would be so touched to know how loved and valued she is by our community.
