My mum passed away very suddenly. This car was hers, and it is the last thing she owned outright. Losing it would feel like losing another piece of her.

She was strong, generous, and always the person who helped others first. One of my favourite memories is going to car meets together, talking engines, laughing, and sharing that excitement. Even when she was unwell, she took this car for one final drive, determined, focused, and completely herself. That drive is something I will never forget.

The car now needs a replacement engine to run again. The total cost is £1,700 including parts and labour. I have already spent £700 on diagnostics trying to save it, but without help I will not be able to afford the repair and the car will be lost.

This is not about restoring a vehicle for resale. It is about keeping the last physical connection I have to my mum, the place she felt free, strong, and in control. Being able to sit in this car again would mean everything to me.
