My grandma was more than family; she was the woman who raised me, my best friend, and the person who showed me what unconditional love truly looked like. For the past two months, she fought so hard in the hospital due to heart failure.
I was by her side every single day, holding her hand, keeping her company, and hoping every day I would see her getting better. We truly believed she would come home. Two days ago, everything changed. She took a sudden decline and passed away, and it has left our worlds completely shattered ever since. We are heartbroken and unprepared.
All contributions from friends and family, will be handles by her Grandson, Austin Waugh. So every last dime can be spent on the most deserving celebration of life. I love you grandma. I will have a Pepsi waiting for you, I promise.
Our family doesn’t have the financial support needed to give her a proper funeral or celebration of life. The kind of goodbye she truly deserves after everything she gave to us. She spent her life taking care of others, loving deeply, and being the foundation of our family. Now, we just want to honor her in the same way, with dignity, love, and respect.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean everything to us. And if you can’t, sharing this helps more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for helping us celebrate the beautiful life of the woman who meant everything to me. I love you more than anything, Grandma. I hope one day you teach me how to fly.
