My grandmother was everything to me—my mom, my best friend, and the person who shaped me into who I am today. She raised six children and ran a daycare in Washington, DC, caring for countless kids from the time I was just a baby. Growing up, I watched her dedicate herself to others, changing diapers, making bottles, and nurturing every child who came through her doors. Her love and commitment made me a natural father, and her example taught me the importance of kindness and giving back.
She passed away on December 13th, 2025, and her loss has been a devastating blow. All I want now is to honor her memory in a way that reflects the incredible impact she had on so many lives. My goal is to purchase a beautiful urn for her, surrounded by plaques engraved with the names of all the children she cared for over 25 or 30 years. This tribute would be a lasting reminder of her dedication and the love she poured into our community.
I’m asking for your help to make this possible. My grandmother was truly one of a kind—sweet, loving, and always giving. Anyone who knew her would agree that she deserves to be remembered for the wonderful person she was. Please consider donating, even just a penny, to help me give her the recognition she deserves. Your support will help keep her legacy alive for generations to come. Thank you for honoring this remarkable woman with me.
