Yolanda was the youngest girl in a family of 16 siblings, a testament to the strength and love that shaped her life. She dedicated herself to caring for others, first as a CNA at Hackley Hospital and later as a devoted nanny. Yolanda also served her community as a truancy officer for Muskegon Public Schools, always striving to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families. Her life was filled with love—she married her soulmate and together they raised three wonderful children. Her unwavering faith and deep involvement in her Catholic church made her a cherished member of her community, always ready to offer a helping hand or a kind word.
In the last month, her health declined rapidly, and on January 6th, 2026, she peacefully passed away, reuniting with her parents, husband, and many of her siblings. Her family is now facing the difficult task of saying goodbye and honoring her wishes for a meaningful funeral that reflects her faith and the love she gave so freely.
Family and friends, I’m sharing this with a humble heart and hope for support. This journey isn’t going to be easy, and asking for help is not something I do lightly. Any contribution—big or small—means more than words can express. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping us in your thoughts and prayers is just as appreciated. Thank you for the love, kindness, and support.
