My father was truly one of the best men of us all. Born in 1959 and raised in San Francisco, he spent his life surrounded by the city he loved. He worked as a ready mix driver for 38 years and was number 1 for Bode Concrete, earning the respect and admiration of everyone he worked with. He was a man of the simplest pleasures, a hard working man, and a genuine soul who always kept us smiling and laughing. His love for his family and his dog was unmatched, and he brought joy to everyone around him. His passions included working on his truck, walking his dog, and enjoying a cold Modelo at Original Joe's. He was also a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors, cheering them on through every season.

Recently, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My father was in an unexpected car accident and suffered traumatic brain injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals and our family's hope, he passed away 12 days later. The suddenness of his passing has left us heartbroken and facing many unexpected challenges.
