Hi everyone. As many of you now know, my dad recently passed away after his battle with Parkinson’s disease. Watching someone you love go through this illness is absolutely heartbreaking… losing him twice has been one of the hardest things my family and I have ever had to endure. My dad was an incredible man — a loving father, hardworking, and deeply loved and respected by everyone who was blessed enough to know him. I know it to be written but it felt like he deserved more time here. He worked hard his whole life to provide for an entire family, and still was more present as a father than I could have ever dreamed of. He was truly just so special. But if he taught me anything (and he taught me a lot) it would be to push forward. To lay the next brick. To preserve, even if it’s hard. When the opportunity presented itself on my flight back home, to jump on a solo Hyrox race in Miami this Easter, I moved on it. And it’s all for you Dad, my guardian angel. My divine eyes in the sky.

This organization works to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s while also supporting those caring for them— advancing research toward better treatments, prevention, and hopefully one day, some sort of cure…
