Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Doug. He wasn’t just a stepfather but a father that stepped up. We may not have shared blood, but he raised me since I was 1 year old and my brother since he was 5 and was always there for us no matter what. He loved us and took care of us like we were his own, so therefore, he wasn’t anything less but our father. He was also the best grandpa to my daughter and a great loving and caring husband to my mother. He was the best man we ever knew. He brought so much love and light into our lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we come to terms with his passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring my father’s memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering him fondly.
