With heavy hearts, my family is raising funds to help lay my beloved brother to rest and give him a final resting place that reflects the life and memories he leaves behind.

My brother was very involved in the TCG and gaming communities, where he spent years playing, connecting with others, and building friendships with people who became an important part of his life. Whether through gaming on his Xbox and PC or through the TCG community, he formed connections with people he had known for many years.

Outside of the communities he loved, he was a brother, a son, a family member, and a friend. He had so many family members and friends who loved and cared about him, and his absence is something we are all still trying to process.

As our family prepares to say goodbye, we are hoping to place his ashes in a special glass-front niche. The niche will not only hold his ashes but also has enough space for us to place meaningful personal items alongside him—pieces of the things he loved and reminders of the life he lived. It will give his family and loved ones a permanent place to visit him, remember him, and feel close to him.

Before we are able to place his ashes inside the niche, however, it must be paid in full before we can place him to rest.

Our goal is to raise approximately $10,000 to help cover this expense and complete his final arrangements. We are hoping, if possible, to raise enough to have him placed in his final resting place by next weekend. We understand that reaching our goal may take longer, and we are incredibly grateful for any support our family receives along the way.

If you aren’t in a position to contribute financially, simply sharing this fundraiser with others—especially those within the TCG and gaming communities who may have known him—would mean so much to our family.

More than anything, we want his final resting place to hold more than his ashes. We want it to hold pieces of who he was, the things that brought him happiness, and reminders of the many people and communities whose lives became connected to his.
