For more than a year and a half, my brother fought cancer with everything he had.

He endured treatments, hospital stays, pain, and exhaustion — and he never stopped fighting. He showed our family what strength truly looks like. While cancer ultimately took his body, it never broke his spirit.

Over these 18 months, our family has faced deep emotional heartbreak along with financial strain. His wife, Mayra, missed many days of work caring for him and standing by his side through appointments and hospital stays. As many know, the cost of battling cancer adds up quickly — medical expenses, time away from work, and now funeral expenses.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease that burden during an already devastating time.

My brother was a loving son, a good brother, and a proud grandfather to his beautiful grandbabies. He loved his children deeply. Family meant everything to him.
