Honoring my beautiful, kind hearted brother Fernando Jr.

Dear friends, family, and kindhearted strangers,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic news of my beloved older brother June, or as most of his friends knew him, Nando, and his unexpected passing. His departure leaves an indescribable void in our lives, especially as we have recently lost our mom, dad, and aunt within these past five months. The grief has been overwhelming, but I am determined to honor my brother's memory in the best way possible.
June was more than just a sibling to me and my other brother Ronnie; he was a beacon of love, strength, and unwavering support through the good times and challenging times. He was the most kind, humble, generous, and loving brother anyone could ask for. Without fail, he would always make sure mom, dad, my brother, myself, his nephews, and nieces were always taken care of, not just emotionally, but on birthdays, holidays, and just because he had a heart of gold. He never asked for much his entire life and was always a giver.
He was incredibly talented not just as a chef, but an artist. He was always humble about his talents, but he would simply amaze you with his cooking and his artwork. Not only was he talented in the kitchen and on canvas, he had a remarkable talent for making everyone feel valued and loved regardless of their circumstances. His heart was as vast as the ocean, always ready to help those in need, and he touched countless lives with his generosity and compassion.
He had dreams and aspirations that were abruptly halted by this unforeseen tragedy. As we navigate this heart-wrenching loss, I am reaching out to you all in the hopes of securing funds needed to give him the dignified and loving farewell he deserves. The burden of funeral expenses on top of our recent losses is more than I can bear alone, being this is the 4th funeral in 5 months. In addition to the funeral is the cost of sending him from New York to North Carolina intact so his friends and family can see him for one last time.
Your contributions, no matter the size, will go directly towards covering the costs of the funeral services. They will help ensure that my brother is laid to rest with the respect and honor that he so deeply deserves. Additionally, your support will serve as a beacon of hope and solidarity for our family as we strive to find solace and strength in these trying times.
Please consider donating, sharing this campaign, and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and generosity during this dark period are deeply appreciated and will never be forgotten.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
