In Loving Memory of Mona — Help Support Her Children, Ellington and Langston

Last night, we lost Mona, suddenly and far too soon. Our community is heartbroken.

Mona gave her whole heart to hospitality. If you were lucky enough to sit at her table or her bar, you knew her warmth immediately. She was funny, silly, endlessly kind, and had this gift for making people feel seen — even the ones who walked in not knowing they needed it. That was just who she was.

Now her children, Ellington and Langston, are left to navigate the unimaginable: their mother gone in an instant, with no warning and no goodbye. We are coming together to make sure they don’t have to carry the financial weight of this tragedy on top of their grief — funeral costs, immediate expenses, and whatever they need to get through the days, weeks, and months ahead.
