I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

My mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, and my brother and I were left to navigate the shock, the grief, and the reality of funeral and memorial expenses we had no time to prepare for. In the middle of losing her, we are now facing costs that are overwhelming and unplanned.

My mom was a true free spirit. She lived with her whole heart—loving deeply, giving freely, and showing up for people without hesitation. She believed in kindness, connection, and living life unapologetically. Anyone who knew her knows she would give the shirt off her back to help someone else.

Asking for help is not something that comes easily to me. I’ve always been the one who shows up for others, the one who helps carry the weight when things get heavy. But right now, we need help carrying this.

We want to honor her life in a way that reflects who she truly was—not just a service, but a meaningful goodbye that celebrates her spirit, her love, and the impact she had on so many. The funds raised will go directly toward her funeral and memorial expenses and will help relieve a burden we were never prepared to face.
