Mom passed away in our home around 1P.M. on March 1st surrounded by all of her loved ones as she requested. She was diagnosed with late stage small cell carcinoma, a highly aggressive form of lung cancer, back in mid October. Since then we were privileged to take care of her, assisting in her transition from this earth. Unfortunately, she did not set up any formal funeral arrangements given the pace of her illness.
