Honoring MKaya’s Memory: Help Us Cover Medical Expenses

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved daughter, MKaya, on January 2nd. MKaya was the light of our lives—a vibrant, joyful, and deeply loved child who brought immeasurable happiness to everyone around her.

On December 19, 2024, an unimaginable tragedy occurred when a driver backed into her school as MKaya was playing in the playground. The impact led to MKaya experiencing cardiac arrest and a lack of oxygen to her brain. Despite the tireless efforts of medical professionals and our unwavering hope, she could not recover from the severity of her injuries.

In the wake of this devastating event, we did everything in our power to provide MKaya with the care she needed, fighting alongside her every step of the way. The medical expenses from her intensive treatment totaled over $380,000. While we mourn the loss of our beautiful girl, we are now faced with the financial burden of these costs during this time of grief.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone whose heart has been touched by MKaya’s story to help us raise $150,000. This will go toward alleviating a portion of the medical expenses and funeral charges, allowing us to honor her memory without the overwhelming financial strain.
