Friends, Family, and Neighbors,
Like many of you, we are shattered by the news of Mike’s passing this week.
Mike was a loving partner, a devoted father, a loyal son and brother, and a hilarious, light‑hearted friend who filled every room with warmth. His heart overflowed with love and generosity. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and deeply cared for, and his presence brought a sense of ease and joy wherever he went. The loss of Mike is an enormous and unimaginable heartbreak for his family and for everyone whose life he touched.
Above all, Mike was most proud of being Gracen’s dad. He loved her with his whole heart, and she carries forward his joyful, caring spirit. In the midst of this immeasurable loss, Gracen has returned to school, meeting each day with a tenderness and quiet courage far beyond her eight years. The strength and understanding she shows are a living reflection of the love Mike poured into her and her mother.
As Liz and Gracen step into a new and uncharted chapter of their lives, they are surrounded by Mike’s love and by the love of all who hold them in their hearts. We know that even in times of deep sorrow, love does not end—that Mike’s spirit, kindness, and laughter live on in the memories we share and the way we care for one another.
Mike meant something different to each of us—father, partner, son, brother, friend—but our love for him is the thread that connects us all. Now we have an opportunity to return that love to his family. If you have the capacity to contribute a financial gift to this sweet family, we pray that the love and generosity you share are returned to you many times over.
Funds will be used to help relocate Liz and Gracen into a new rental home, assist with funeral expenses, and support travel for immediate family during this difficult time.
Thank you for any support you are able to give—whether through a donation, a kind message, holding this family in your thoughts and prayers, or by sharing this page.
Again, thank you
