Honoring Michele and Supporting Peter & Their Kids
Four days ago, my cousin's family faced the unthinkable. Michele, Peter’s beloved wife and the incredible mom of their two kids, and care giver of 2 small children, was tragically taken in a car accident. The shock and heartbreak are beyond words, and now Peter and the kids are left trying to pick up the pieces after losing their rock, their heart, and their guiding light.
About Michele:
Michele wasn’t just loved; she was cherished. Her life’s purpose, alongside Peter, was to pour into others and uplift everyone around her. Together, they chose to live intentionally, finding ways to make an impact as a team.
Michele had this incredible way of being fully herself—always genuine, always present. She was the kind of person who made you feel seen and loved, whether she was directing a play, helping kids find their place, or simply being the most patient and understanding soul. People often told her patience was her superpower, and they were right.
More than anything, Michele was a mother in every sense of the word. She was deeply devoted to her two children, and to the two children placed in their care. Her love and care were boundless, and her presence filled every corner of her family’s life with light and warmth.
Why We Need Your Help:
Losing Michele has turned Peter and the kids’ world upside down. On top of the emotional weight, they’ve gone from two incomes to one overnight, leaving them in a challenging position as they navigate this new reality.
We’re asking for support to help ease this burden so Peter can focus on grieving, healing, and caring for their kids. Your generosity will go toward:
- Funeral and memorial costs to honor Michele’s beautiful life.
- Everyday living expenses like housing, utilities, and childcare.
- Helping their children adjust to life without their mom, their care-giver, including future opportunities like education.
How You Can Help:
Michele gave so much of herself to others, and now we have a chance to give back in her memory. Any contribution—big or small—will mean the world to Peter and his family during this devastating time.
If you’re not able to give, simply sharing this fundraiser or keeping them in your prayers is just as meaningful.
Thank you so much for helping us honor Michele and support the family she loved so deeply. Your kindness means more than you’ll ever know.
With love,
Chantel
