Michael Triggs, a respected Republican political strategist and consultant, was deeply connected to numerous Los Angeles-area groups. These included the California Republican Assembly, Santa Monica Republican Women Federation, Lincoln Club, Judeo-Christian Caucus and Calvary Chapel men’s bible study breakfast. His passing is an irreplaceable loss for the Southern California conservative movement. Mike's unparalleled knowledge of American, California, and Los Angeles political history earned him respect across the political spectrum, including from key Democrats in the state. Known for his rigorous use of English, Latin, and other languages in political discourse. Mike was endlessly curious, open-minded to all political philosophies, and fearless in challenging ideas. He was admired for his intellectual integrity and commitment to honest debate.

 Mike was a father to two children—Zachary (who passed away last October) and Esther—and a grandfather to fourteen. He provided unwavering support to Esther ("his Edie Bird") throughout the 15 years she owned her own seamstress/ costume design business in Reno, NV. Their lifelong bond included a love for art, discovering new vintage stores, visiting antique shops, and finding literary treasures at used bookstores.

Mike was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, teaching Sunday school and early morning seminary. He cherished his family, friends, and faith, leaving a tremendous void in our hearts and community with his passing.
