In Loving Memory of Michael Anthony Waters III

It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating loss of Michael Anthony Waters III on behalf of his loving family. Michael was just 5 years old; a bright, loving, and funny little boy who brought immense joy to everyone who knew him.

Michael’s battle began in November when he was hospitalized with RSV and then released. December 9th when he was hospitalized again with RSV which tragically developed into rhinovirus, leading to severe complications. He spent the next two weeks on life support, and his doctor believed he was improving and strong enough to come off life support. Despite moments of hope as he seemed to improve, tragedy struck when he was removed from life support and immediately flatlined. Doctors worked to revive him for 20 minutes, but he passed away on New Year’s Day, 2025.

Michael’s playful spirit, infectious laughter, and love for his family will be forever cherished. His short and beautiful life touched the hearts of so many, and his memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.

As Michael’s family navigates this unimaginable grief, they also face the significant financial burden of funeral costs and medical expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to them during this incredibly difficult time.
