Honoring Michael Wolfe: Support for His Family and Memorial

My name is Jeremy McCool, and I had the privilege of serving as the platoon leader for Michael Wolfe. We served together during Operation Iraqi Freedom from May 2007 through July 2008. Our unit was stationed in Baghdad during the campaign period known as The Surge. Throughout that time, Mike exemplified unwavering dedication, courage, and integrity. I remain deeply grateful for the honor of serving alongside him.

On Friday, August 9, 2025, Mike passed away tragically, leaving behind his devoted wife Jen and their three remarkable children. To many, Mike will be remembered as a true patriot and warrior, following in the footsteps of his father, a Navy SEAL who also served this nation with distinction. To others, he was known as one of the most gifted dog trainers anyone has ever known. Above all, Mike was cherished by his family and friends for the loyalty, honor, and strength with which he lived every day of his life.
