Life is short… and precious. Yesterday, we lost a stalwart of the Catskill Irish Community as well as the North American Irish Dance Association. Michael Farrell was a hero to his wife, Jeanne, his daughters, Bridget & Meghan, his mother, his siblings, and to all of his friends who loved him dearly.

Michael wasn’t sick and recently had a doctor's appointment with great blood work results. He had a cold when Jeanne left for work on Thursday morning. When Jeanne returned home on Thursday evening, she found that Michael had passed sitting peacefully in his favorite chair.

He will be missed beyond measure… there will never be another Michael Farrell.
