We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Father, son and amazing grandfather Michael Edward Roos, has recently passed away after losing his second battle with cancer. His passing was very sudden and unexpected, giving us little time to prepare. Our family has been caught off guard, trying to process the shock of losing such an incredible man so quickly.

Michael lived his life with love, kindness, and a giving spirit. Even in his final days, he expressed one last selfless wish: to donate his body to science so he could continue helping people after his passing. This was his way of leaving behind a legacy of hope and knowledge for others.

Already, his wish has begun to come true — as of today, Michael has helped two people through eye donation, giving them the precious gift of sight. This is exactly the kind of person he was: always thinking of others first.

We are creating this fundraiser to help cover the expenses required to complete his body donation process and fully honor his request. Any funds raised beyond what is needed will be donated either to a cancer research fund or to the University of Florida, where he will be taken to fulfill his final wishes.
