Update 2/14: Michael was laid to rest 2/12. I will leave this open for anyone who would like to help his wife and kids get on their feet. The costs of funeral were raised and paid. The cemetery was partially paid and I have a loan to pay the remaining balance. So please continue to share. Thank you all who helped make this happen for my brother❤️
My brother, Michael Andrew Dixon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 29, 2026. He had just turned 36.
This was very unexpected so we were not prepared for this. He was the main provider for his family so you can imagine how hard this will be for his wife and children. He will be sent home to Illinois from Florida. Michael wished to be buried alongside our Father, Paul Dixon.
Michael was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. He had such a big heart and helped everyone he could. His sense of humor could make anyone laugh and smile. He loved our mother dearly, his wife, kids, and family. He had big plans. He wanted people to get together and make good memories. He changed his life because he wanted the best for his kids. He didn’t want it to be this way

I will update as soon as I have more information about his services. As of now, there are separate fees: Florida’s funeral services to prep and send him to Chicago. Illinois funeral services, transportation. Then final, the digging and other things for the cemetery. This is well over the original amount requested so I updated this 2/1.
Update 2/5: I just want to say thank you all so much for all your support. I am so humbled and grateful for each and every one of you. I have the obituary link that will be updated with all the details once we have confirmation of dates.
