It is with heavy hearts that my family and I share the passing of my father, Michael Andre Rountree.

My dad was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, raised in California, and returned to Little Rock as a teenager. He was known to many as “Tree”—a name that reflected his grounded presence, strength, and the way people naturally gathered around him. As a DJ, he went by Sir-Scratch-A-Lot, bringing music, joy, and connection to so many through his craft.

We are currently raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses as we prepare to lay him to rest and honor his life. Any contribution—no matter the size—means more than words can express. Your support helps relieve the financial burden during an incredibly difficult time and allows our family the space to grieve, remember, and celebrate him properly.
